USB
A data storage device that has flash memory. They are also known as flash drives and the most common ones are removable and rewriteable. These are widely used as they are easier to use and again much smaller than the old floppy disks.
Memory cards
An electronic flash memory storage device used for storing information. They are most commonly used on things like digital cameras, mobile phones and laptops. Small and very easy to use.
Floppy disks
Type of disk storage that was widely used before the arrival of the USB. Its a thin flexible disk inserted into the disk drive. Read and written by a floppy disk drive.
CD/DVD
Optical disc storage format. They offer a higher storage capacity than other storage devices.
Cloud Computing
This is the use of computing resources that can be delivered over the internet. It is infact a very safe way of storing data.
